children's site "pbskids.com"
This is by far one of the best websites for kids on the web.
You can watch PBS shows like:
My kids loved Super why and word world. Both helped my son, who had speech therepy. The Therepist asked what are you doing? Because he showed very good improvement. I can't quite say it was those shows, but I feel that watching letters form words, helped him with the concepts.

Dr Nano, an Iphone game made with Lightwave 3d.

Dr Nano X Game First Look for the Iphone

http://twitter.com/DoctorNano
Dr Nano X is a futuristic journey into the human body.
In the future it's common practice to place nano size robots inside a patients body to preform
maintenance and medical procedures.
A strange phenomenon has taken place in one patient, nano robots have gone haywire.
Other abnormalities such as unusual parasites and pathogens have been detected.
A government funded project has discovered a way to shrink down humans small enough to
enter that patients body and fix the nano bots. That was the plan anyway...
They realized that the mass of a full grown human is too large for the shrinking machine.
That's where you come in... you are a Dr. Nano a child genius. You will be the first doctor to treat a
patient from inside the body.
Normal insertion is unavailable, tweezers will drop you on the skin, find the wound and enter
bloodstream and begin your adventure.
Patient has been quarantined for the past month. Gangrene and maggots have been detected.
Missions take place in the Skin, Artery, Kidney, Brain, and Pancreas and beyond.
Estimated Game Play: 90 Minutes
multi-player Wifi up to four players with two environments
We plan on updating the game twice a month (increasing game play time)
One new mission and one new multi-player game.
Back Story
We started out as a medical animation studio - www.medical-animation-studio.com and were working
on a large project called Madstone Chronicles that we were looking to fund. (you'll see some shots of
that project on the www.missioncriticalstudios.com site.
One of the owners- Erik Guilfoyle has alot of experience modding PC games and has even written two
books on Modding Quake and Half Life 2.
We decided after our first attempt in the iphone platform to make a game that we can expand into a full
fledged adventure. Something that is expandable at least every month. So users will be able to acquire
their own equipment to use on different adventures - weather it be weapons, scientific equipment or
even vehicles.
A lot of the Graphics that you see on our website are from the old game.
Our new game is called Dr Nano X
Official COMPANY INFOMission
Critical Studios was formed in 2007 as an independent developer.
Erik “foyleman” Guilfoyle joined the game-modding scene shortly after the release of Half Life in
early 2000 by creating a custom level and supporting material for the game. After that, Erik was
hooked on modding games.
While building on his knowledge of games, he was also building on his career. Working with Tres, Inc.,
foyleman worked on many media projects assisting with programming, modeling and art. It would be
with Tres, Inc., while he was finishing up his Bachelors degree in Finance, that he would gain the
diversity required within the gaming industry.
Two years and a lot of practice later, Soldier of Fortune was released. Foyleman jumped at the
opportunity to map a custom level for this game and was among the first to release a map for the game
with custom textures. This led to a flurry of emails requesting advice for constructing custom material,
and the beginning of a compendium of game modification tutorials.
Not much later, foyleman started up his own Web site to host existing and new tutorials. The site grew
until he had the largest collection of tutorials on the Internet for Call of Duty mapping. Now,foyleman
is running the MODSonline.com modding community with the assistance of two other administrators
and several friends, covering many games including Quake 4 and Half-Life 2. As new games are
released, he starts off the tutorials section with beginner instruction and leads the member forums in
preparation for the next up-and-coming game.
Being an authority in the game modding world, in 2005 Wiley Publishing, Inc. contacted foyleman and
contracted him to write a book. In August of 2006, foyleman Published his first book through Wiley
Publishing, Inc. titled Quake 4 Mods For Dummies. In January of 2007, his second book, Half-Life 2
Mods For Dummies was also published.
Aside from his love for games, foyleman is also the vice president of an established media company,
Tres Media Group (MedicalAnimationStudio.com, tres3d.com & tresware.com). His company has been
producing 3D models, MOA's (Method of Action), medical animations, motion graphics, and websites
for companies and corporations throughout the world for over eleven years. Mission Critical Studios,
an off-shoot of Tres Media Group, is now working on a game of their own. Foyleman is a member of
the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) as well as the Entertainment Consumers
Association (ECA).
Mission Critical Studios is a small independent studio with a total of 5 employees on a good day. Since
the team has medical experience creating medical animations and a love of video games, it seemed like
a natural progression to combine the two. Everyday 4:00 we stop work and play battlefield. . That's
how the concept of Dr Nano came about. One day looking at a prior animation of a stent opening in the
artery we thought of the old movie "fantastic voyage" and said wow, how great it would be to make a
video game taking place inside a human body.
We wanted it to be fun but not too graphic we didn't want to freak or gross people out.
Our first try in producing an iphone game didn't work as we planned. We basically created a tunnel
game. The game was too repetitive
We listened to the reviews and comments and feel we have a good understanding of what the public
wants...and what we always wanted to do. We pulled out all the stops on Dr Nano X.
Treating it as though we were creating a console game. It's been a labor of love working nights ,
weekends our team has been putting everything they have in this one. - Awesome Paper Airplanes

Great Summary of the bailout on msn.
Once upon a time a man appeared in a village and announced
to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The
villagers, since there were many monkeys around, went out to
the forest and started catching them.
The man bought thousands at $10 and, as supply started to
diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He next
announced that he would now buy monkeys at $20 each. This
renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started
catching monkeys again.
Soon the supply diminished even further and people started
going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each
and the supply of monkeys became so scarce it was an effort
to even find a monkey, Let alone catch it!
The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50
each! However, since he had to go to the city on some
business, his assistant would buy on his behalf. In the
absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers:
Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man
has already collected. I will sell them to you at $35 and
when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him
for $50 each.'
The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all
the monkeys for 700 billion dollars. They never saw the man
or his assistant again, only lots and lots of monkeys!
Now you have a better understanding of how the WALL STREET
BAILOUT PLAN WORKS!!!!

Puritan Pride for vitamins
Well, you have to do the math but puritansale.com which looks to be the
same place is a better deal. If you look at the strength of the
glucosimne + chondroitin +msm, and the amount of pills you get, the
price is better with puritansale.com
The buy one get 1 free, or buy 2 get 3 free is actually more expensive
than their 70% sale. I got 240 x 2 bottles for $33. If I went with the
puritan sale 1 bottle get one free, I would have to pay $56 for the
same thing.
Unfortunately this made me waste time checking thier own sites for the better price. '
I'm not sure they will have the sale, but having 2 prices for the same products is not cool.
