Buckle up, I had about enough time to put my hands up. That was about it.
The part in benjamin Button, where the main actress gets hit by a car ending her dance career was a little like this. THey had a 5 min montage where they depicted all of the events leading up to the crash.
Before I saw the movie I would think the same things. My wife is a teacher, and the day of the accident, she calls me in the morning. The air conditioners broke that day at her school, so everyone was sent home. We went to the island to Ikea for lunch, stopped off at party city our there for some items for My son's birthday, went home.
I think, if the airconditioner hadn't broken we would of never been there, or maybe if we didn't stop at party city. I seem to remember going back for glow in the dark stars for my son's bedroom cieling. If I didn't go back... The light we stopped at where we almost made it through, I remember saying to my wife go go, but she stopped at the light. Things like That all seem insignificant at the time. I guess fate is something you can't change, because you don't know what's going to happen. If I knew I would've never even gotten into the car that day.
I suppose that saying "luck favors the prepared" is the only thing that makes me not afraid to go into cars again.
We bought a 5 star crash rated car as the replacement. New tires, no skimping on crappy ones.
What else can we do, drive safer, avoid driving in the rain, I don' t know. If it's going to happen again,
which things are going to be beyond my control, I hope I've prepared enough...
Thank goodness we all are ok.

Citibank's hidden fees
If this has happened to you, post here. If this is widespread, I smell class action suit.
The banks are hurting, so what do they do....
They start doing things that make us trust them even less.

Great Summary of the bailout on msn.
Once upon a time a man appeared in a village and announced
to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The
villagers, since there were many monkeys around, went out to
the forest and started catching them.
The man bought thousands at $10 and, as supply started to
diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He next
announced that he would now buy monkeys at $20 each. This
renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started
catching monkeys again.
Soon the supply diminished even further and people started
going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each
and the supply of monkeys became so scarce it was an effort
to even find a monkey, Let alone catch it!
The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50
each! However, since he had to go to the city on some
business, his assistant would buy on his behalf. In the
absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers:
Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man
has already collected. I will sell them to you at $35 and
when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him
for $50 each.'
The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all
the monkeys for 700 billion dollars. They never saw the man
or his assistant again, only lots and lots of monkeys!
Now you have a better understanding of how the WALL STREET
BAILOUT PLAN WORKS!!!!

Puritan Pride for vitamins
Well, you have to do the math but puritansale.com which looks to be the
same place is a better deal. If you look at the strength of the
glucosimne + chondroitin +msm, and the amount of pills you get, the
price is better with puritansale.com
The buy one get 1 free, or buy 2 get 3 free is actually more expensive
than their 70% sale. I got 240 x 2 bottles for $33. If I went with the
puritan sale 1 bottle get one free, I would have to pay $56 for the
same thing.
Unfortunately this made me waste time checking thier own sites for the better price. '
I'm not sure they will have the sale, but having 2 prices for the same products is not cool.
