Android Apps can mess up your phone, simply uninstall the last one you installed before it acted weird.

 Hi,

I just got an android phone and I like it.  I fumble around, and call quality, I think needs to be a little bit better. (better speaker phone)

I ran into a problem though.   I downloaded a live background called Thunder free (or something like that it was a live background with thunder and lighting, very nice I liked it.).  There was an update for it  and all of a sudden my wifi won't work.  Now since I updated a whole bunch of apps at once I didn't know at the time this was the problem app.   The Wifi  would simply turn off.  I started uninstalling apps and testing the wifi, until I uninstalled this live background thunder free.   All of a sudden the wifi worked again.

SO just fyi, be careful of the apps you download from the android market place.  It might just drain your battery faster, or in my case mess up the wifi.

Special Note---------------------------------------->Be careful calling customer support.  They wanted to reset my phone using the factory default reset.   That would of fixed the problem, but I would lose all my contacts, and apps, and everything.    If your carrier's tech asks you to do this it's a red flag.  Stop and talk to a different tech, and or do some digging on google.  Odds are someone already had your problem and posted it.

If anyone knows of a good backup tool for Android phones, please post.

Antonio

p.s. I now install one or two  apps at a time, and test out the phone.  It makes it easier to trouble shoot.
