This site has games such as this teeter Totter game. It helps children develop the idea of symbols. Different Geometric shapes are heavier than each other, or equal in weight. If a ball is heavier than a squre, and the hexegon is heavier than the ball, which is the heaviest. It's done visually in a great little game.
