There better be some smart people in office this year, and somehow I'm not to confident on who we voted in.
Government needs to become more efficient. There needs to be some government agency that just looks to see what is the most efficient city or town, and make that a standard for the rest. 311 is a good implementation of this type of ideas.
But government spending is way out of control. How much is a program like the one I outlined above going to cost? There are tons of programs, somebody needs to reign all that in. Perot talks about deficits and how government spending at it's current levels are not sustainable.
